blasting and construction vibration concerns
and possess communication skills necessary for productive,
on-going dialog during blasting and construction operations.
We are prepared
to evaluate public opposition to projects, develop strategies to resolve
conflicts, and work toward community acceptance. Our experts are experienced in the science of
blasting, how structures respond to vibrations, the real causes of structure
cracking, and best practices available to protect your blasting and
construction operations from alleged damage
claims. Aimone-Martin Associates are uniquely prepared to address many
issues important to property owners because we have conducted numerous
national studies focusing in these critical areas. Our knowledge, experience base, and professional
credibility makes
us leaders in developing and implementing community relations programs to meet
your specific needs.

Organizing and Conducting Public Informational Meetings
We specialize in community meetings, whether they are pre-construction, pre-blast, or meetings taking place during rock blasting and construction activities in response to public concern. Our experts are able to relate to the public in a way that promotes productive dialog throughout your project life and resolve many of the fears and concerns the community may have.
Our venues may vary depending on your situation and may include the following:
open-houses organized at public places, in which informational story boards are placed strategically throughout large open spaces and presented by project managers and consultants.
Small, informal "round table" group meetings with community representatives, home-owner association directors, or board members, in which concerns may be vocalized and addressed accordingly by project managers and contractors..
More formal presentations with small representative groups, at which a single presentation, narrow in scope (normally focusing on blasting, vibrations, and noise) is given. General project information is provided along with schedules and scientific information tailored to the general public, followed by an open discussion.
Large community meetings are not conducted by Aimone-Martin Associates and are discouraged when the topic focuses on blasting issues.
